Arsenal and Crystal Palace share the spoils with 2-2 draw

Gunners climb up the ladder into 12th place with a late equalizer by Alexandre Lacazette saw Mikel Arteta's side draw up against Crystal Palace 2-2 on Monday. Hosts had clinched an early goal in just seven minutes with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s beautiful strike.

In the second half, Christian Benteke and Odsonne Edouard put Crystal Palace in the lead as their dominance threatened to end the five-match unbeaten run of Arsenal this season. But a late strike by Lacazette rescued a draw for the team as they move into 12th place as they recover from one of their worst starts for 67 years. Wilfried Zaha’s absence was notable as well but the Eagles dominated the first half, still Patrick Vieira’s homecoming was spoiled.
