Arsenal confirms Thomas Partey’s thigh injury before facing Brighton

The midfielder Thomas Partey was suspected of a thigh problem and now that has been confirmed by Arsenal ahead of them facing rivals Brighton on Saturday. Early this week, Mikel Arteta confirmed Kieran Tierney was dealing with a knee injury that could likely keep him out of this season while Takehiro Tomiyasu is still kept on the sideline due to his calf problem.

Now Arsenal has confirmed that Thomas Partey sustained an injury to his thigh against the Eagles. It seems like he is going to skip the game over this weekend and also their upcoming games against Southampton and Chelsea as well. Arsenal gave a statement that said that Thomas has received assessments and a scan has shown there is a muscle injury in his right thigh. They will continue to assess him in the forthcoming weeks and everyone would be working hard to get him back on the pitch as soon as possible.
