Arsenal could target five free agents now after the transfer window debacle

Arsenal failed to add reinforcement in January but still has one more week to make a few transfers from the free agency market happen before they seal their squad for the rest of the season. Mikel Arteta’s lost the chance to sign Dusan Valhovic, Arthur Melo and Alexander Isak in the winter window and saw around 14 players depart from Emirates leaving the team shorthanded. Arsenal even let Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang slip away to Barcelona leaving just Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah at their disposal.

They have five free agents they could target in the week to make up for the loss, Diego Costa, the former Chelsea striker is eager to return to Europe. Jack Wilshere, would jump at the opportunity to play for his boyhood club, next is Laurent Koscielny, the Bordeaux defender is without a team at the moment but would fit in well with Ben White and Gabriel. Bafetimbi Gomis and Kwadwo Asamoah make up the potential transfer list Arteta could target.
