Arsenal had its two players sent off in their annihilation at the hands of Wolves. David Luiz was sent off close to half time break, hurting Arsenal’s chances of winning. A seven-game unbeaten league run had impelled Arsenal back into contentions for Champions League next season and they might have moved to inside five points of the main four after Nicolas Pepe's strike opened the score for Arsenal and put them ahead. Ruben Neves successfully converted the penalty before Joao Moutinho's stunning long-range strike right off the bat in the second half put Wolves ahead.
