Arsenal eyeing Samuel Chukwueze

After Mikel Arteta made the club aware of its interest in the Villarreal attacker during the January transfer window, Arsenal has now been unsuccessful in acquiring Samuel Chukwueze twice. The Nigerian star has subsequently discussed how close he was to sign with the Gunners earlier in his career before the deal fell through, but he hasn't ruled out moving to England in the future. 

Since breaking out with Villarreal as a youngster in 2018, Chukwueze has won fans from all across Europe. In over 200 games, he has tallied 31 goals and provided 36 assists for his teammates. After Arsenal planned a January deal for the winger, the 23-year-old's remarkable 11 goals this season have increased the possibility of a move to a larger club. They failed in their attempts to entice him to London, nevertheless.
