Arsenal looking for options

Currently occupying the third spot in the Premier League, just one point behind City and trailing Liverpool by two, Arsenal is enjoying an impressive run under manager Mikel Arteta, clinching seven consecutive victories since the year began. The team boasts both the highest goal-scoring record and the best defense in the league. Despite their success, Arteta acknowledges the need for squad enhancement, especially with defensive injuries sidelining key players like Jurrien Timber, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Oleksandr Zinchenko. 

Looking ahead to the summer transfer window, Arteta is keen on reinforcing his defensive lineup. Although Jakub Kiwior has shown promise at left-back recently, concerns persist, prompting Arsenal to explore options. City's Joao Cancelo, a long-term Arsenal target, emerges as a potential solution, as City aims to offload him, and Barcelona's interest faces obstacles due to the €40 million asking price.
