Arsenal is apparently poised to authorize the sale of Nicolas Pepe, the club's all-time top signing. Under Unai Emery, the winger joined Arsenal for £72 million from Lille in August 2019 and has shown flashes of brilliance during his stay at the club. Pepe, on the other hand, has struggled for consistency, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is considering releasing him. Arsenal is willing to take a large loss on Pepe and accept £25 million for the Ivory Coast international, but other teams may not be interested.
Arsenal is apparently mulling a deal for Juventus' Dejan Kulusevski, a 21-year-old winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder. Pepe had a terrific finish to last season, scoring five goals in three league games. He began the campaign as a regular in the side, but he has recently lost his spot, with Emile Smith Rowe on the left-wing and Bukayo Saka on the right.
