Emile Smith Rowe has finally signed a long-term contract with Arsenal and put an end to all the speculations and rumors about his future. He has had two bids rejected by the Gunners this summer, who were quite adamant for the whole time that he was not for sale. The club’s opening bid was 25 million euros which were rejected and they returned with their second offer of 30 million euros, but ultimately it was also turned down by Arsenal.
The talk about the new contract for Smith Rowe began at the beginning of the season this year and it would have taken a lot of effort and a huge fee to take him away from the Emirates. He had to wait till Boxing Day to make his debut in the Premier League appearance last season.
