Arsenal hands Leeds United a hugely disappointing loss in the Premier League with the 2-1 loss on Sunday and hurls them further into the relegation zone. It was a good boost for Arsenal as they try to secure a top-four finish. It was the Leeds loanee Eddie Nketiah who doomed Leeds with the initial quickfire double. The visitors were reduced to 10 men after Luke Ayling was sent off after a challenge on Gabriel Martinelli.
Leeds had a hard time reaching the goal post until Diego Llorente’s header made its way to the back of Arsenal’s net beating goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the second half. Gunners further add more points and solidify their stand on the fourth spot. They need to hold on for three more matches and defend the spot against north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
