Arsenal are preparing to offer a new contract to their captain Martin Ødegaard, in light of interest from several major European clubs, led by Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, in signing the Norwegian star.
Since joining Arsenal from Real Madrid in 2021, Ødegaard has become one of the team's key pillars, delivering outstanding and consistent performances that led him to wear the captain's armband and contribute goals and assists, making him one of the standout midfielders in the Premier League.
According to reports, Arsenal's management is looking to renew and improve Ødegaard's contract to ensure his longer stay, especially with the increasing interest from major clubs in acquiring his services.
The club also aims to secure the future of some of its other stars, such as Declan Rice and David Raya, as part of a plan to maintain the team's technical stability.
