Arsenal seems to be climbing the ranks slowly and steadily after a poor start to the season, first cracking their way in the first of the table and now move into 8th position. Nicolas Pepe pushed in an opener for Arsenal in the 8th minute, answering Stuart Armstrong’s top right corner shot in the 3rd minute. Arsenal later took a lead with Bukayo Saka’s 39th-minute goal.
Ultimately winning the match against Southampton by 3-1. From their last six matches, Arsenal has played for the better winning 16 points off 18 conceding just two goals along the way. If this keeps up we have one more player fighting its way to the top after being ruled out this season. This was their third back-to-back win away from home, though Arsenal did put on a sloppy show and Southampton failed to take an advantage of it and hence perished.
