Arsenal thrashed Sheffield United 6-0

The Gunners, who have won seven straight games this season, are the first Premier League club to do so. They also seem to be picking up steam just in time to maintain pressure on the top two.

Arsenal was merciless, effortlessly slicing through United's defense right away. With his goal in the fifth minute, captain Martin Odegaard opened the floodgates by scoring from the center of the box following a deft cutback by Declan Rice. On a night that saw six different names on the scoresheet, United goalkeeper Ivo Grbic was in for more suffering. After Jayden Bogle scored his own goal in the 13th minute, Gabriel Martinelli's goal two minutes later sent a large number of frustrated United supporters running for the Bramall Lane doors. Other goals came from Kai Havertz in the 25th minute, Ben White in the 58th minute, and Rice in the 39th.
