Arsenal’s error cost them gravely

Arsenal made an error that no one thought they could make by gift-wrapping a goal to Burnley as they lose out on a two-point lead. Gunners had opened the score early in the Saturday match and were proudly showcasing a 1-0 record after 6th minute when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored to put them ahead in an attempt to see them off to a comfortable win. But their standing changed after half time when an errant pass by goal keeper Bernd Leno to Granit Xhaka saw Burnley get an equalizer that ended the match in a draw.

Xhaka was passing to David Luiz but it found Burnley striker Wood’s body which ultimately resulted in the ball finding its way in Gunner’s empty net. Later the dramatic night did not end with just one event Arsenal missed out on taking the lead after they could not convert a penalty when VAR ruled it out.
