Arsenal's Opener Against Liverpool Stands Valid After VAR Review

Arsenal has found a loophole to dodge a VAR offside call, as Gabriel Martinelli placed them ahead against Liverpool in the first minute. Arsenal had an amazing win against Liverpool over the weekend, with Martinelli opening the goal scoresheet scoring way too early. But it soon sent off a flurry of disputes later in the match and questions were raised about the first goal of the afternoon and Bukayo Saka's offside position in the build-up.

Although, it has been disclosed that Saka was not able to be actually be picked up on any of the cameras. Klopp remarked, "It was an open game, it could have gone in either direction, and then this situation around the penalty. When Gabriel Jesus is going down there is like a bit of a delay, so it was not 'bang' and straight down. But [the VAR] Mr England thought it was not worth sending the ref to the screen. We cannot change that."
