AS Roma sits third on the table 6 points behind AC Milan while Inter missed on leveling up with the leaders with a 2-2 draw as both the teams refused to give their rivals a leg up in their race to win the Serie A league. Their stalemate did not help matters either as Juventus climbed closer with the win over Sassuolo. Antonio Conte's side had already suffered against Sampdoria this week which saw them end their eight-match winning streak end.
Lorenzo Pellegrini gave Roma the first lead during the match, Inter’s Milan Skriniar hit back with an equalizer early in the second half and 7 minutes later Achraf Hakimi took gave them a lead with a curling shot. AS Roma though forced a draw four minutes from time to thaw all the efforts of Inter to climb the table.
