Aston consider pairing Ollie Watkins with Tammy Abraham

Dean Smith is making a move on Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham this summer in the hopes to have him join up with Ollie Watkins and the duo would power Villa forward. Blues Abraham had a good loan year at Villa Park and helped them earn their position back in the top flight tournament Premier League via the play-offs in 2019. Due to his injury this season he has struggled a lot and whether Thomas Tunchel includes him in the long-term plans remains to be seen.

Former Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie is excited with the prospect of having the player partner with England international Watkins after his permanent return to Villa Park is being discussed. The 23-year-old would fit in well at Aston Villa.
