Aston Villa chases Juventus’ Weston McKennie

The Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie has supposedly grabbed the interest of Aston Villa. The Premier League club is also reported to be ready for a huge £25m asking price for the United States international. But, here comes the twist as the 22-year-old doesn’t seem fully interested to enter Villa Park.

Though facing retaliation in the initial phase of the negotiations, the Villans seem determined to acquire the Serie A player this summer as a part of their busy transfer market. Following Emiliano Buendia, Danny Ings, and Leon Bailey’s signing, the Lions coach Dean Smith isn’t finished with his business with many more major decisions in the making. The Juve posing a tough face, it will be difficult to land the player at the Villa. The McKennie bagging five goals and two assists in 34 Serie A matches for the Juve has made 22.2 passes on average with an 85.4% completion rate.
