Atalanta beats Sassuolo 2-1

Atalanta get their hands on the coveted three points for the second time back to back thing time it was Sassuolo on the other side. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side found an early opener in Robin Gosens, who was delighted to get their first league goal while La Dea wasted a lot of opportunities to score but let them pass by. Davide Zappacosta then surprisingly gave Atalanta a good lead by scoring his first goal for the club after February 2015.

Before the teams could take a deserved break Sassuolo had pulled on back with a goal by Domenico Berardi at 44th minute. In the second half, both the teams were on their toes and held back each other as Atalanta maintained their lead and recorded their second win.
