Atalanta held to a 1-1 draw against Udinese

Atalanta’s trouble run is not over yet they drop more points in the Round 10 fixture on Wednesday and were held back by Udinese to 1-1, this comes after the side was held to a goalless draw by Genoa at home. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side is unable to show its dominant side without Papu Gomez. Udinese went ahead in just 24 seconds before Atalanta could even realize that the game has started already when Roberto Pereyra took advantage of an unprepared Atalanta and put his side ahead. Pereyra put the ball past Pierluigi Gollini’s legs with ease after a lousy job of defending by Cristian Romero.

Udinese took a step back in the first half while Atalanta could not find an equalizer. With Duvan Zapata and Josip Ilicic being added the momentum of the match shifted a little and soon after Muriel pushed past Udinese keeper to level and salvage one point for the team.
