Atalanta puts pressure on Juve with 4-0 Sampdoria rout

Atalanta stays on Juventus’ tail in Serie A in the fight for a Champions League spot. La Dea cruised past Sampdoria 4-0 on Monday with some help from Teun Koopmeiners' brace, who doubled his goal tally this season with four goals. Mario Pasalic struck early to give Atalanta a boost later Koopmeiners was successful on either side of the half to put more distance between Atalanta and Sampdoria until Aleksei Miranchuk’s efforts put the game out of reach.

La Dea grabbed all three points from the match but still stay three points adrift of Juventus who is fourth after the Empoli win the only advantage Gian Piero Gasperini's side enjoys is the game in hand and if they win they would be level on points with the Italian Giants.
