Kieran Trippier appears to be getting closer and closer to joining Manchester United, as the side have reportedly made Atletico Madrid an offer for their right-back.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', it appears that the English side have put an offer on the table of around 12 million euros for the 30-year-old.
A proposal that those in the Spanish capital rejected immediately, as they see it as far from their asking price. Atleti want the player's release clause to be activated, which stands at 40 million euros.
For his part, Trippier himself would look fondly at the possibility of returning to his home country, after leaving the Premier League back in 2019 when he put an end to career at Tottenham.
