Barca offers a five-year deal for Max Aarons

LaLiga giants sign-on Tottenham’s defensive player for five years, as Ronald Koeman continues the process of revamping his squad. Barca has already lost Arturo Vidal to Inter Milan and Luis Suarez to Atletico Madrid. Instead of Max Aarons Barcelona was chasing the Ajax star Sergino Dest but Bayern Munich beat them to him.

The highly-rated Norwich right-back agreed to join Barcelona for £20m, plus £10m in add-ons mooted. Just in time as Nelson Semedo is on his way to Wolves. Tottenham had offered the right-back a loan deal with an option to buy later but the 20-year-old turned it down, to travel to Camp Nou.
