Barca targets Florian Wirtz for 2023

Barcelona has set their sight on Bayer Leverkusen and Germany starlet Florian Wirtz for a summer 2023 move. The Leverkusen prodigy moved advanced from 1. FC Koln’s academy joined the side in January 2020. Growing within the ranks of German giants Wirtz found his breakthrough in the first team by May 2020 and is now among the key players for the German giants. The 19-year-old has recorded 19 goals and 22 assists for Die Werkself making 78 appearances as well for the side.

Wirtz this season was in an even more amazing form with 24 goals in 31 matches but an unfortunate knee injury in March ended his campaign early. The player even made four appearances for the German national team after his debut in September 2021.
