Barca’s new boss Xavi wants Thiago Alcantara back at Camp Nou

New Barcelona’s manager Xavi wants to bring back Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara to Camp Nou. The Spaniard was part of the Catalan giants roster between 2005 and 2013 climbing through the ranks making a total of 101 first-team appearances.

Thiago then moved to Germany to play with Bayern Munich for seven years and completed a move to Liverpool in September 2020, Alcantara then lost his form with the Reds, unfortunately. Now Xavi wants to boost his midfield options for next year by bringing the Spain International. In the 2021-22 campaign, Thiago has just had five Premier League appearances accompanied with a calf problem. In the total 37 appearances, he has netted just one goal and one assist in the process.
