Barcelona and Chelsea agree to terms for Christensen

Chelsea is set to see a lot of potential players leave Stamford Bridge this season and the list includes the talented Andreas Christensen as well who is bound for Camp Nou. Barcelona is close to finalizing a deal for the player and be his next destination. Christensen has been part of the Blues squad ever since he joined the club as a 16-year-old and has even spent some time on loan with Borussia Monchengladbach. Returning to Chelsea’s senior team he has developed into a trusted centre-backs.

But the European champions have a very heavy wage bill bringing them down and parting ways with the 25-year-old make sense for the team. Barcelona is reportedly very happy with the player and his skills have impressed Xavi as well.
