Barcelona and Raphinha are "very close" to reaching an agreement 

According to reports, Barcelona and Raphinha are "very close" to reaching an agreement on a new deal that would keep the Brazilian in Catalunya till 2029. Mundo Deportivo claims that before the extension is approved and finalised, there are only a few little things that need to be worked out between the two sides.

The release clause is one of the unsolved difficulties, although "sources close to the player" maintain that there won't be any complications. Raphinha will sign a contract until 2029 and is expected to get a wage increase, making him one of Barca's best earners. Raphinha was predicted to leave last summer, but his incredible season earned him a new deal. Instead the forward has gone on to play a key role in Barcelona’s excellent season, posting some quite remarkable stats.
