Barcelona consider re-signing Luis Suarez

Barcelona is interested in bringing Luis Suarez to the Catalan club in the summer transfer window. Xavi Hernandez is looking forward to reconnecting with Atletico Madrid striker Xavi Hernandez in the 2022/23 season. After an impressive six-year career with Barcelona, Luis Suarez joined Atletico Madrid in a surprise move in September 2020. The 34-year-transition old's from one La Liga heavyweight to another has paid off handsomely, as he was a key figure in Los Rojiblancos' league win in 2020/21.

Suarez has made 63 appearances for Atletico Madrid, scoring 29 goals and providing five assists. However, with his contract expiring in the summer, the veteran Uruguayan striker's time with the Colchoneros could come to an end after just two years. Following Sergio Aguero's forced decision to retire, the Catalan giants are already on the lookout for a striker.
