Barcelona drown Valencia with a five goal thriller

Barcelona faced Valencia at Mestalla on Sunday and emerged victorious with a 1-4 win on Xavi’s side. Barca dominated the match and even rejoiced with a near-perfect night in front of the goal. In the first half itself, the match was heavily leaning towards Barcelona until a late resurgence by hosts hampered their clean sheet and add some pressure on Braca but their new signing former Gunner player Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stayed flawless at Mestalla to inspire a win. He opened the score and then came back to score once more.

The Catalan giants are fourth in La Liga level on points with defending champions Atletico Madrid and four points behind Real Betis. Barca also benefited from Alba and his synergy with Ferran Torres and Frenkie de Jong that caused trouble for Valencia’s right flank. Marc-Andre ter Stegen was also at his best pulling off incredible saves to keep Valencia searching for opportunities.
