Barcelona's interest has also extended to the center-back position, as the newspaper mentioned that the club is monitoring Nico Schlotterbeck, a 25-year-old defender from Dortmund, whose contract ends in 2027 and is refusing to renew, with an estimated value of 40 million euros. The name of Dayot Upamecano, a 27-year-old defender from Bayern Munich, also stands out.
