Barcelona has a lot on their plate before the La Liga opener

Barcelona is far from ready to kick off their 2021-22 campaign at home. The opening match is scheduled in three days and they would take on Real Sociedad. The Catalan giants need to further reduce their wage bill if they want to register new recruits officially- Eric Garcia, Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero, and Emerson Royal as well for the opener. While the Barca star has already left the club after bidding an emotional goodbye to join PSG, other unwanted stars are still on the payroll. Players like Miralem Pjanic, Samuel Umtiti, and Martin Braithwaite are still being linked to other clubs but still stay on the books.

Though Barca might need to register just Memphis and Emerson before Sunday as Aguero is already out with injury and Eric Garcia has just returned home after Olympics. They might also call Yusuf Demir against Real Sociedad.
