Barcelona is reluctant to pay more than €35 million for Lewandowski

Barcelona is hoping to sign Robert Lewandowski in a €30 million deal and wouldn’t mind paying a little extra for the Bayern Munich striker. However, they are unwilling to offer him more than €35 million. Robert’s stint with Bayern seems to be ending and this is a good opportunity for Barcelona to rope him in.

This 33-year-old has been great with his footwork on the field and has scored 50 goals and 7 assists in his 46 appearances across different competitions. He had publicly admitted that he would want to leave Bayern Munich and this is what caught the eyes of Barcelona. Luuk de Jong will return to Sevilla once his loan deal expires, with Barcelona doubtful of signing him permanently. With Barcelona’s financial woes, they need to be efficient in their purchases during the summer transfer.
