The January transfer window ended last night after the deadline day saw some clubs making some frantic attempts to complete the signing. Spanish side Barcelona was quite active in the winter window bagging Arsenal wantaway Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but could not manage to offload Ousmane Dembele. Aubameyang would serve as Sergio Aguero’s replacement in the team who retired early in November after heart issues.
Barcelona missed out on the opportunity to complete the move for Dembele and now could lose the specialist at the end of the season for free. The most costly signing of the window was done by Juventus with Fiorentina for striker Dusan Vlahovic for an amount of $84.5 million. Apart from Aubameyang, Barca also added Adama Traore (from Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Ferran Torres (from Manchester City).
