Barcelona squashes Real Betis

Barcelona has finally returned to its form. All thanks to Lionel Messi who made Barcelona defeat Real Betis by 5-2 in La Liga. However, Ronald Koeman's side was merely able to pick up just two points from a possible 12 heading into this clash. But, a powerful performance against Manuel Pellegrini's visitors attained a timely three points.

Ansu Fati and Antoine Griezmann both missed early chances. French International Ousmane Dembele fired home an incredible opener at 21 minutes. Because of this, the home side did not have to wait for a long time to take the lead. Just after the half-hour mark, Griezmann was handed an incredible opportunity to double Barcelona’s lead.
