Barcelona trying to repeat its winter strategy for the upcoming summer transfer

The winter transfer market was successful for Barcelona which had a lot of acquisitions for the club. This was of great help to Xavi Hernandez to support his squad cost-effectively. It was required based on the club’s financial predicaments. Well, no doubt that it was pretty successful as the signings helped the Spaniard to take Barcelona up the league chart. Even though they experienced a downfall at the start of the season, they have made it into the Europa League quarterfinals. 

Ahead of next season, the Catalans have managed to get the signings of Andreas Christensen from Chelsea and Franck Kessie from AC Milan as free agents. Barcelona’s power to attract talent is still second to none. Barcelona has been planning on going ahead with the same strategy used during the winter transfer for their acquisitions in the summer transfer window.
