Barcelona wins El Clasico with a 4-0 rout

A commanding win for Barcelona who snapped their five successive defeats with the El Clasico win. Xavi’s Barcelona seems to have woken from a long slumber and commands the attention in Spanish League now by taking down the runaway La Liga leaders in a 4-0 rout.

While Catalan giants may have thrashed Real Madrid it would take a serious slip up for the side to not win their 35th title. Carlo Ancelotti's side is still nine points in the lead at the top with Sevilla running second and are 12 points ahead of third-ranked Barcelona. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in his El Clasico debut silenced the home fans by heading in Barca’s first goal than making a comeback to grab the last goal of the day at 51 minutes. Barcelona even ended Real’s dominance at El Clasico by winning for the first time after three years.
