Barcelona won in Madrid against Atlético

Dembele achieved, in the 22nd minute, the goal that provided the conquest of the three precious points. João Félix was in the starting line-up for Madrid

A goal scored by French striker Ousmane Dembele allowed FC Barcelona to win 1-0 at Atlético de Madrid stadium, in a match for the 16th round of the Spanish League, and to isolate itself at the top of the competition.

Dembele, a not very popular figure in Catalonia, scored, in the 22nd minute, the goal that won the three precious points, 'replacing' the Polish scorer Robert Lewandowski, the league's top scorer, with 13 goals, absent due to suspension.

'Barça' now hold a three-point advantage over champions Real Madrid, defeated on Saturday by 2-1 at Villarreal, while Atlético de Madrid dropped to fifth place, overtaken by Betis, who beat Rayo by 2-1 Vallecano, and further away from Real Sociedad, in third place.
