Barcelona’s Samuel Umtiti on Arsenal and United's radar

Barcelona’s outcast Samuel Umtiti is looking for a way out of Camp Nou this transfer season and Arsenal and Manchester United can deliver that. The Premier League bigwigs could formulate part of his escape route, Umtiti has been part of Barca’s squad since 2016. He left Lyon to join the Spanish Giants, he did have a successful debut season but later on, he was gripped with recurring knee injuries and the Frenchman thus fell down the pecking order.

Last season he featured in 16 matches across the competition and Ronald Koeman preferred Ronald Araujo and Oscar Mingueza over him. Barcelona have put him on the transfer list  since last summer but have not been able to offload him. Now the Catalan giants expect an offer from Arsenal and Manchester United for the Frenchman.
