Kingsley Coman's first-half goal gives Bayern Munich a boost in Bundesliga with a 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Friday. Bayern is 10 points in lead over second place RB Leipzig, who enjoy a game in hand and are travelling to Schalke. Bayern secured the three points in 21 minutes itself when Coman found the net in snowy Berlin.
Bayern earned a penalty right at the start in 11th minute when goalkeeper Rune Jarstein tackled Leroy Sane but later drove to right to deny Robert Lewandowski a penalty. But could not stop Coman's shot after he was set up by Niklas Stark. Both the teams later worked hard to score keeping Jarstein and Manuel Neuer busy the whole night. Hertha had the chance to equalize late in second half but Matheus Cunha went wide and hit the post instead.
