Bayern Munich 1-1 FC Koln

Champion FC Koln was defeated by champion Bayern Munich thanks to a superb late goal from midfielder Joshua Kimmich. Given that RB Leipzig had won earlier in the day, Ellyes Skhiri's squad appeared to be headed for a devastating loss after taking an unexpected early lead. Kimmich, though, unexpectedly appeared to give the hosts a point.

Early on, Koln appeared to have the advantage thanks to Ellyes Skhiri's precise corner finish, but Kimmich's thundering drive into the top corner in the closing seconds saved a point for the home team. The outcome will give RB Leipzig, who are now in second position and only four points behind Bayern, hope of challenging for the Bundesliga crown. The draw places Koln's Billy Goats in 10th place with 21 points. Bayern's consecutive draws in the Bundesliga do not bode well for the 31-time champions.
