Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski scored twice in a 5-0 Champions League Group E triumph over Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday, giving the German champions their ninth successive win in all competitions. The Poland international, who had gone 19 games without scoring in all competitions before failing to score in the league on Saturday, scored his first goal in the 12th minute with a well-taken penalty.
In the 27th minute, he scored again, latching on to a wonderful through pass from Thomas Muller to beat the Dynamo goalkeeper before Serge Gnabry thundered in to make it 3-0. In the 74th minute, Leroy Sane scored their fourth goal, and three minutes later, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting sealed the sweep with a header. The Bavarians were dominant throughout, leaving little room for the Ukrainians, and their fans were treated to a goal feast as they returned to the stadium for the first time since 2019.
