Bayern vs VfL Bochum: Bayern triumphs over Bochum 7-0

Bayern Munich thrashed promoted Bochum 7-0 on Saturday in the Bundesliga. Robert Lewandowski scored twice. Bayern Munich's Lewandowski extended his scoring streak to 19 games in all competitions. With his second-half goal, the Poland international became the first player in the Bundesliga to score in 13 straight home games. The visitors had a good start until Leroy Sané scored in the 17th minute with a superb free-kick. It was Bayern's first goal-scoring opportunity.

In the 27th minute, Sané set up Joshua Kimmich, and in the 32nd minute, Serge Gnabry found the far corner for Bayern's third goal. An own goal by Vasilios Lampropoulos rounded off a forgettable first half for Bochum, however, experience has shown that an unlikely comeback is conceivable.
Four minutes later, Kimmich scored his second goal, and replacement Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting made it 7-0 in the 79th minute.
