Ben Chilwell was “fantastic” in Chelsea’s 4-0 beating of Crystal Palace

Rio Ferdinand, former England defender praised Ben Chilwell as he was "fantastic" in Chelsea's 4-0 beating of Crystal Palace. Not only this, the exceptional performance of Thiago Silva was noteworthy.

Chilwell, England left-back scored the very first goal of the match. And, he laid on the second goal for Kurt Zouma. Nevertheless, Thiago Silva was also a shining star in a one-sided London derby at Stamford Bridge.

In an interview with BT Sport, Ferdinand reported that it was like water off a duck's back for Chilwell.

He complimented Chilwell for being confident and happy to be on this stage. Undoubtedly, the expectations were very different from his previous club. He thought Chilwell was "fantastic". Chilwell is indeed a natural player like a modern-day-full-back.
