Benítez: "They offered 50,000 euros to me and other people to lose the game"

Aday Benítez, a former Girona player, among other teams, confessed that they tried to bribe him, in addition to pointing out other meetings in which he suspects that there was manipulation of results.

A revelation made by the game in statements to the Spanish radio station Cadena SER. “They offered me €50,000, me and other people, so that we would miss a meeting. It was absurd to accept that, because that year we were promoted to the First Division and there was one game left for the championship to end", he said.
