Blackburn is cashing in on the striker this summer who is being courted by West Ham. Striker Adam Armstrong would be available for just £8million this summer. Blackburn though wanted to keep the 24-year-old but with just one year left in his contract and they are not gambling by letting him leave for free next season.
The former Newcastle centre-forward is also being courted by Norwich and Southampton after Armstrong netted 29 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions in the recent Championship season. West Ham is desperate for a new centre-forward this summer as they to add more depth to the squad heading into the Europa League next season and Armstrong would be the best choice.
