Mattias Svanberg pulled the Bologna ahead of Verona in the latter half of the match to score the lone goal of the match and set up the team for a win in a Serie A match. Hosts ended up winning the match with a scoreboard screaming 1-0 when the whistle blew. Marko Arnautovic provided a beautiful assist at the 78th minute which was converted by Svanberg taking advantage of Verona’s poor form as they denied the team a draw.
Hellas Verona remains one of the two teams in the French League to earn a point from their three matches, Bologna on the other side took their points tally to seven-point to be placed 6th on the table and level on points with Inter and Udinese.
