Bordeaux's match against Marseille got off to a rocky start as visiting striker Samuel Kalu fell on the ground in the early moments of the game at Stade Velodrome, but the 23-year-old Nigerian stood up as doctors raced on.
He returned to the game for a few minutes before being replaced in the 14th minute, visibly drowsy.
Marseille led 2-0 at halftime with two goals from Cengiz Under and Dimitri Payet, before halftime replacement Timothee Pembele pulled one back, and Remi Oudin, who replaced Kalu, leveled with a first-time strike in the 57th minute.
Marseille had Leonardo Balerdi, the main defender of the Marseille club, sent for a challenge in the 89th minute just after his home winger Nemanja Radonjic had disputed a goal offside.
