Borussia Dortmund's ride to its first Bundesliga title in seven years is shaping up nicely and Lucien Favre's men moved an inch further in the quest with yet another win. Die BVB cruised to an all-new milestone by seeing off Hannover 96 in an emphatic 5-1 win at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday.
In form full-back Hakim Achraf fired the hosts into the lead inside the 24th minute before Marco Reus doubled the advantage 15 minutes into the second half. Mario Götze subsequently grabbed the third and Raphael Guerrero as well as Axel Witsel delivered the final two blows. In between, Marvin Bakalorz scored the visitor's consolation goal.
With 48 points after 19 games, Die BVB has achieved its highest-ever points haul (48) at this stage of the season.
