Borussia loses last-minute 2-1 against Union Berlin

Borussia lost to Union Berlin 2-1 on Bundesliga matchday 12 in Berlin. The home side scored the winning goal in the seventh minute of added time in the 75th minute to secure the win. The approximately 22,000 spectators at the sold-out Stadion an der Alten Försterei saw a half where chances were scarce. The two teams defended reasonably and didn't allow many chances on their goal, and it was no surprise that the first goal came from a set piece.

Lars Stindl's corner was nodded home by Nico Elvedi in the 33rd minute. The Foals grew nervous as the game went on and they hoped to stop Union possession of the ball while they searched for a way to counter. Hanno Behrens equalised in the 79th minute to claim victory. With all signs pointing to a draw, Doekhi's shot with the last touch of the game claimed the win for Borussia.
