According to GloboEsporte, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) tried to hire Spanish coach Pep Guardiola to replace Tite in charge of the canarian national team.
The aforementioned publication adds that the CBF has offered Guardiola a net €12 million per year to succeed Tite, who has already announced that he will step down after the 2022 World Cup.
In question would be a contract valid for four years. It is recalled that Pep Guardiola has been in charge of England's Manchester City since the 2016/2017 season. Prior to that, he had stints in Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
