Substitute Josh Dasilva's late rocket rescued Brentford at a point as they retaliated from two goals down to finish with 2-2 in their Premier League opener at Leicester City.
Dasilva, who entered the field in the second half as a trade for Mathias Jensen, crashed home a far-fetched leveler with four minutes left on the clock for the Bees, who had been second best for a large portion of the match. Leicester had been more than great and their 2-0 lead early on explained why! Goals in both the half from Timothy Castagne and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall had set Leicester on the winning path. But their dream of opening the season with three perfect points was ruined when Ivan Toney pulled one back at the 62nd moment and later Dasilva’s late effort pulled Bees level on the score.
